What you are saying is that it’s better to risk the most when you have the least to make. Later in the tourney, you’ll have antes and huge blinds to steal, so the pots will really be worth fighting for. Risking your entire stack on an open ended straight, when you’re not even shortstacked or under pressure of being blinded away is not a good idea.
