When a character has hair that covers one eye, the hair will have two positions: the ‘default’ position it takes in most shots, and another position it takes with a certain side view. For example, if BJ’s haircut is usually down on the left side of his face, and there’s a shot that shows the left side of his face, the white hair will switch to the right side of his face. It’s just animators or artists being lazy.
