Yeah, so much for people making fun of Eli.

  2. setkid says:

    why 8cards?

  3. tavbf says:

maybe Dan needs to stop putting his money in bad.. wow

  4. jclwhite says:

Dwan shows how his style works well against a short stack opponent. He has them all over the place. What do you do when you are short stacked against a super aggressive opponent and have a medium hand? You get beat, thats what happens.

  5. opom says:

I’ve seen an interview with him in which he said that a high stakes NLHE cash game isn’t exactly his favorite format.
He said he made most of his money playing PLO, that PLO is his favorite type of poker and that he thinks that NLHE is a too tough game to make a living off due to variance / the luck involved

  6. nl9ce says:

Sammy is a billionaire. He has oil money from the middle east somewhere.

  7. gucylucy24 says:

anyone know whats happened to sammy farha!! i heard some players talking about him and i get the impression that he’s not been around for a while!!!has he gone broke or what???anyone know??

  8. gucylucy24 says:

now dwan was just unlucky nobody hada king…..coz the way the hand was played and the board theyb definately would have bet it(well probably)dwan knows that if nobody has a king and he bets the turn he prob can only be called by a flush draw if anythin and that has much less potential for a big pay-off which is what dwans game is all about! personally, i’m not even a good poker player myself or a huge dwan fan but it does show us that he’s thinking on a level way above most players!!!

  9. gucylucy24 says:

continued post…..dwan gets paid off huge money coz of his reputation and how the hand has played out…it’s really fishy bet….seems like he smelled weakness off a guy who just bet a lone king….and nobody likes 2 be bluffed by dwan…..how could he play a flopped 2 pair this way!! he couls have raised with flush draw himself and missed…big bet seems too fishy so he’s very likely to get paid off especially against a guy like eli!! by playing the hand this way he could have won huge pot

  10. lennoxvegas says:

David Tuckman has great strategic insight as well. He provides commentary for the PokerStars Sunday Million Highlight show.

  11. rigbst says:

tiger misses a few holes! haha only elins these days maybe…

  12. musicisakey says:

@nl9ce under his bed maybe? hope he finds it

  13. gucylucy24 says:

i continue my logic here….so if someone bets the king or even flush draw……dwan can make a raise that seemingly makes no sense……(how can you put him on two pair considering how he’s played the hand!!! it almost looks like tom senses weakness and players of this level are aware of dwans abilitys!! so its quite likely that they might put him on a flush draw or complete bluff and call the raise!now we have big pot!! if a blank comes on the river dwan can make a big bet and then……

  14. gucylucy24 says:

i don’t think that was that poor a play from dwan at all….checking the two pair on the flop and turn!! the reason i feel this is that when the king hits on the turn it had little relevance to the flop (except the flush draw) and with so many people in the pot it’s very likely that someone has a king for one thing (probably with other pic card and not low number) and more importantly would bet a king or even the flush draw considering that there seemed such little interest in the pot! continue.

  15. Oreillyisthebest says:

he’s too smart can’t say it all fast enough as fast as he thinks it

  16. Oreillyisthebest says:

    lol yeah

  17. 4BetShove says:

Isaac Haxton’s problem is that he keeps talking after he’s run out of breath. Breathe in, damn it!!! Great strategist, horrible voice.

  18. ninjakurai says:

    wow daniel lucked out HAHA

  19. Oreillyisthebest says:

ya how can you not like his enthusiasm…..he really loves the game

  20. camrockem says:

I also really like Jesse May, the way he always gets uber excited and says “Canhepossiblygetawayfromthis?!?!”

  21. mickymacky02 says:

damn dwan played that 2 4 horrible. why wouldnt he bet the turn?? why would u slow play two small pairs and a flush draw? the check on the flop is ok, but the turn cmon dwan.

  22. Oreillyisthebest says:

i’m not gonna judge whether its good or bad cuz I dont know…its hard to say when you aren’t sitting in the seat

  23. Oreillyisthebest says:

its a shove or fold situation clearly…with his stack.

just calling there are too many cards that can come off on the turn that are bad for his hand and he would be committing too much when the turn card could possibly make him fold if it was a bad card for him

he just wasn’t in the mood to fold middle pair against tom on a semi-dry board

  24. Oreillyisthebest says:

ya he’s like…”I dont think he has a game really…i’d consider his game nitty and bad”

or like, “yeah that was just standard donk logic”

    lol

  25. lollerz16 says:

I agree, Isaac Haxton is excellent for strategy. You should hear Luke Schwartz commentate. It’s absolutely hilarious.
